About the Artist
Peter Donnelly is a best selling author and illustrator of children’s picture books.
His titles include The Dead Zoo, Up on the Mountain, Little Wolf and the much loved President’s series - The President’s Glasses, The President’s Cat, The President’s Surprise and The President’s Dog.
His first six books were shortlisted for the An Post Children’s Book of the Year Award (Junior) which he won in 2018 and 2023. His work has also been featured in the prestigious Creative Quarterly, American Illustration, The 3 x 3 Journal of Illustration, Taschen's Illustration Now and the IDI awards.

Peter previously worked for Don Bluth Films and 20th Century Fox on box office films including The Land Before Time, All Dogs go to Heaven, Anastasia, Titan AE and The Prince of Egypt.
He lives in Co. Wicklow.
